[Transcribers notes: A few images have been repaired wheredamage was obvious,
such as specks on the original plate or voids in the printing process.
A gamma correction of  0.8 has been applied to compensate foraging of the ink.

technical flaw is the long exposure to produce the crisp detail anddepth of field.
